String is building the most comprehensive and robust platform for structuring data from the web.

Customers ranging from the largest hedge funds in the world to startups use our platform to pull 20M+ rows of structured web data per week. We bootstrapped to high six figures in ARR, are profitable, and are hiring to meet increasing demand.

We have done all this with a lean, ambitious team, and we just closed a seed round from leading VCs and angels in the data as a service (DaaS) space to further accelerate growth.

Who We’re Looking For

1. You have 2+ years of SWE experience.
2. You’ve shipped meaningful products in small teams or 0→1 environments.
3. You want to work across the stack (backend, ML, infra, AI agents, etc).
4. You thrive in-person and want to build side-by-side with a tight-knit team in NYC or SF.
5. You’re excited by the speed of early-stage startups and always bias towards action.
